Webspace is the size your website can be. Every files on your website has to be stored on your web hosting providers server known as web server. Each character on your web page is one byte. 1024 characters are 1 kilo byte (1 KB). 1024 KB is one megabyte. One Megabyte is represented as 1 MB. 1024 MB is one giga byte, that is 1 GB.
HTML pages are usually very small, below 50 KB in size. But images, downloadable files, music and movie clips take up large amounts of disk space.
